The writing of this album began during the recording session of Burned From Hope in 1998. Some of the songs - Waste (The Dreamer) and Shield (The Spiritual) have been around for 20 years.
Between '98 and '03 we wrote six more songs and recorded an 8-song demo version which never saw a release.
In 2010 we got together and began plans for the new album. We also wrote the song Humanity (The Herd), which became the intro/outro track for the new album.
In 2011 we recorded all songs at Pacific Studio in Sofia with lots of our friends around us - Dessy Dobreva, Dido Vendetta, Alex Last Hope, Simona Let Them Die, Dido Corecom and many more.
As BFH members own this studio, our own material was pushed to the backburner and slowly emerged in the gaps and sleepless nights since then.
2018 finally sees the release of Bits oF Humanity after 20 years!
This is a conceptual album and the song Humanity describes the social roles of different stereotypes of humanity which intrigued us during the years: it contains the titles of all the rest of the songs within the lyrics. Some of those lyrics have changed their meaning throughout the years (ie DJ Digital), but most still hold true and relate to aspects of making a difference in the world around us and not wasting our life away.
We poured a lot of energy and love into these songs. We hope you will love them as much as we've loved them throughout the year.
This is BFH from 20 years ago and today.
